## Area Council meeting

The next Area Council meeting will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, 8 December 2026 on Zoom.

## Hampshire Area Annual General Meeting 2027

The 2027 AGM will be hosted by Alton Group, on Saturday 27 February 2027 at Beech Village Hall and Recreation Ground, 1 Wellhouse Road, Beech, Alton, GU34 4AQ. The AGM will be preceded by a walk in the morning.

## Winchester Walking Weekend

Winchester Ramblers, in association with Hampshire Young Walkers and the Hampshire 40+ Walking Group, ran the third Winchester Walking Weekend in June.

On Thursday 18 and Friday 19 June, walks were led from New Alresford; and on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June, from Winchester. Walks ranged from 3 to 13 miles and attracted over 220 people, including Ramblers, local people interested in hiking, and visitors to the area.

Next year’s Weekend will be 17–20 June 2027.
