The route starts on the outskirts of Liphook and meanders along the Hampshire - West Sussex border encompassing sections of the Serpent Trail and Sussex Border Path inside the South Downs National Park. The route features a variety of undulating terrains with woodland, heath and golf courses, with one steep ascent.
