ASHURST TO LYNDHURST

From the car park we will cross the railway line and walk to a safe place to cross the busy Southampton Road. We will complete a circuit through mixed woodland on firm tracks to Lyndhurst where there will be opportunity to visit the tea/coffee shops or just take lunch on Bolton’s Bench. It will be a more open forest route on the way back to our cars.

For those requiring extra sustenance at the end of the walk, the nearby Merretts Cafe provides lovely coffee, homemade cakes and a log fire - what better way to finish an autumn walk? 

Please bring refreshments for coffee and lunch stops.
