BURITON - Note early 0800 start

Please note the walk will now start at  0800. With temperatures due to rise to 30 degrees C , I would prefer to start with more comfortable temperatures and avoid some of the hotter periods of the day.

A hilly walk in the part of the South Downs on the Hampshire and West Sussex border. The route will take us via Sunwood Farm, West Harting Down, Ladyholt, Idsworth church, Chalton and Head Down Plantation.

Some of the walk will be through woodland providing some welcome shade if the hot weather continues.
