Up to the Downs from Elsted

A 9 mile circular walk from Elsted up onto the South Downd to Hooksway and back, via Treyford, Didling, the South Downs Way, Devils Jumps, Monkton Farm, Stubbs Copse to Hooksway returning via Rook Clift and Woolbeding Farm. Total of 1050 ft of ascent/decent includes one steep ascent - c.450ft in a mile up to the South Downs, with a more gentle descent. Walk will stop for coffee and lunch so please bring own refreshments.

Please note the walk will cross fields with sheep and lambs so dogs will have to be on leads i these parts of the walk
