Friday Street Hammer Trail

Circular walk in the Surrey hills with a gentle climb from Friday Street and taking in the Wooton Estate. Great views of the North Downs with rivers, hammer ponds from the historic iron industry, mills, farms and churches to enjoy along the way. This walk is a fairly even mixture of sun and shade. Given the very hot weather it has been reduced from 7.8 to 6.5 miles. It still gives a lovely mixture of scenery and great views. Please bring hats, suncream and lots of water. We will make additional drinks stops and adjust the pace as needed.
