Location: Car park at junction of Thorney Road and Thornham Lane (first turning right off A259 after Emsworth} Turn right after Sussex Brewery Inn into Thorney Road and where you meet Thornham Lane on left, car park is immediately on left. Limited parking up to 12 cars. Additional parking available in Thorney Road.

via Marker Point, West Thorney and Sussex Border Path. Picnic lunch. A completely level walk with no stiles. Various differing surfaces including shingle, sand, gravel and earth and grass. Some grand views across to Emsworth, Hayling Island and Chidham as well as inland to the South Downs.

The church of St. Nicholas at West Thorney may be visited on route which has stood in some form for 800 years.
